James Tissot Letters, 1878-1899.

Concerning the sale and exhibition of etchings in England, and announcing his project for a series of paintings on the Old Testament. In a letter to the magazine publisher McClure (1899 April 21, Paris), Tissot discusses his illustrations for the Old Testament, and compares his work on the Old Testament with his work on the New Testament.
